I've spoken with many of you about enhancements and bug fixes to AD*.  A few years ago AL* approached me about doing some programming work for them, and I was expecting to become the lead developer for AD.

(AD = The software that is used to drive my display.
AL = Company that makes the hardware/software I use)

In preparation for that expected work, I took the time to compile a large list of items that included many suggestions from people here.

While I can't/won't discuss the specifics why, Paul has let me know that they are trying to find someone else to do that work.  My NDA does not allow me to discuss AL issues which means you shouldn't read more into this than what I said.  This decision does NOT mean AD development is being abandoned, nor does it mean that any AD revisions are being promised for the future.

The reason I bring this up is that some of you may have discussed AD issues with me and not with AL.  To ensure that your issues are at least on AL's radar be sure that you have raised them directly with the support people there.

My personal thanks to everyone who took the time to discuss their AD issues with me, and my apologies to all of you that it won't be me implementing them.
