For 2006, the show used approximately 40,000 lights, controlled by 80 channels.
- The new channels were used for the large tree on the right side, called the 'Mega Tree'. In 2005, it was 4 slices by 4 colors. In 2006, the tree was expanded to 8 slices by 4 colors. This allowed for much better looking effects.
- 25 new strobe lights were added. The new lights were placed in the holly tree, and in the large wreath.
- A large investment was made behind the scenes for the static parts of the display. Previously the non-animated part of the display was turned on/off with timers. Starting in 2006, these are now also computer controlled via X10.
- The largest addition to the display was approximately 30 wooden holiday cut-outs.
The show once again expanded. In 2006 it was 26 minutes long and consisted of 9 different songs, broke into 3 3-song blocks with a 1 minute break.
