I firmly believe that many projects fail due to confusion. My solution: label everything!

On the label: Part name, Step # to install, total number to install, location, *=Sensitive

Every step has it's own bin

Follow the check list and mark it off when a step is done. Step 1, Bin 1. Step 2, Bin 2....

Even items that are too large (or in protective packaging) still get a bin
